More backgrounds

Ive done enough for 30 seconds worth,plus i can re use a few of them for close ups. I've quickened up too, which is excelent.

Fweii Turn around

Fweii's turn around, shes suposed to stand out from her surroundings and i thought pink might be best for this since most of the backgrounds will be either green/yellows or browns/reds, shes also suposed to look like a young fairy, ie, blossom or flower bulb, pink and white are usually the colour for these.

Background for the intro. I decided to go with the painted look, since its quicker and i can get better depth with it.

Aesthetic and background

Aesthetic and background. I tried to do the whole 'plastic bright flat' look, but it just ended up looking boring, then i tried the painted kinda look, i took the same amount of time on each and i like the painted on better, though its going to look better once i put more detail and colour into it. All the backgorunds are planned and i went out and took a load of photos to paint over. Cant wait to get them done!

Aesthetic

Just a few of the images I've been collecting to inspire me with me aesthetic, hopefully it will be very flat colours with different textures in the background, very bright and childlike. But with different seasons coming into play with this i think I'll be capable of making the piece look varied and interesting.

I've now finished two of the turn arounds, my two main characters, just need to decide on colours.

Character concepts.

A few Character concepts for Button, and his final design at the bottom. I'm glad with how he worked out. Though im still not sure about colours and aesthetic. I've search all over but I still havn't found much that I said "I want mine to look like that!" about. Still searching....

The story

The story follows a tiny Mushroom Sprite named Button and his young fairy helper Fwei. Button is happy making mushrooms every Summer day, when he suddenly finds flowers and the flower faires. Button then decides he wants to make beautiful flowers too and discards his mushrooms. Fwei tries to perswade him not to misuse his magic but Button insists and Fwei leaves him. Button then starts to try to make flowers, but only ends up creating disfigured poisonous mushrooms that poison the flowers and fairies he had come to admire. Saddened, Button becomes trapped in a dark sad state for along time. Until he is awakened and quickly finds his mushrooms have spread wildly over the course of Autumn and is thrilled. Button even finds a human eating his mushrooms and is overjoyed with his creations again.

Thats basically the story, I'm happy with it and I cant wait to get started!
